The Simple Idea
As an event & wedding planner my life revolves around everything & anything social. I am a dynamic resource for your Big Day or Special Soirée. It all starts with a simple idea. Taking a practical approach to planning, my goal is to offer a creative and relaxed atmosphere during the process, that you will not only enjoy, but reflect on as a memorable experience. From climbing ladders to get that light just right, or kicking up my high heels on a dance floor, I love everything about my job. My favorite part is watching a that “simple idea”, or a single element of your vision, blossom into a full-scale gathering. It’s like piecing together a puzzle and the reward is a celebration that will uniquely belong to you.
The Social Know-How
As owner of Social Ambitions, I’d love for you to know how I got myself into this fun & crazy career. A born & raised Southerner, I am a true local (yes, local–we’re talking 5th generation) resident of Franklin, Tennessee. I have been planning for years throughout Franklin and the Nashville area. It began with hosting simple parties, then it grew into helping with larger events for friends and family. Now, years later, I’m dreaming up events for complete strangers! It’s been said that the best planners aren’t always the most creative, as they get lost in the details. Instead the best planners are well-organized, energetic individuals. Lucky for you, I’m BOTH! I have a background in Floral Design (worked for a renowned florist in Birmingham), Hospitality (worked on a guest ranch in Colorado), Bridal Gown Merchandising (manager of a bridal salon), Venue Management (simply that…I managed a venue), as well as a vast knowledge of Event Rentals. With all of this “know-how”, and a good eye for design, events fall into place effortlessly. From the selection of paper for the invitations, to the peonies in a bouquet, and the petit fours for dessert–I LOVE it all. And I promise that you will too!
Most of all, working hard for my clients is my priority. The many hours of hard work, emails, phone calls, and face-times for those long distance events, are all worth it. Especially since there is a mutual goal to create a unique keepsake in the form of memories that will make me, and most importantly you, proud.
